Acropark Laghetto Roana and Alpe Cimbra: zip lines over lake and meadow

Two parks from the same operator, one at the Laghetto di Roana on the Asiago plateau, one in Carbonare in Trentino. Franco Di Carlo sent us four photos of each.

Franco Di Carlo from Acropark srl in Vicenza sent us eight photos, four each for Acropark Laghetto Roana and Acropark Alpe Cimbra. He has announced more information for both entries later – we are looking forward to it. Both now show real pictures instead of the neutral drawing. Grazie mille!

Roana: straight across the lake

The cover photo explains the park's signature feature at a glance: someone hangs from a zip line above the small lake, with reeds and water below and meadow, spruces and a roofed pavilion on the shore. The Zip Circle is a system of zip lines that takes you across the lake and back.

Two photos look up into the trees from below: at a bridge of slanted wooden beams and at a climber, backlit, stepping across free-hanging cable loops. The fourth picture shows a large group of children in white and pink T-shirts at the pavilion with the covered climbing wall, the lake behind them.

The park lies near Canove di Roana on the Asiago plateau. Eight courses with 116 challenges run over about 1,300 metres, from the Kid Explorer course from age two to Braves Only from 16. You pay by time: three hours cost 30 € for Senior (from age 10 and 140 cm), 22 € for Junior and 14 € for Kid. The season runs at weekends until 25 October.

Alpe Cimbra: everything twice

In Carbonare, between Folgaria and Lavarone, the first picture also shows a zip line – but here with two people side by side on two parallel cables, with a rocky mountain and a tall wooden tower behind them. Another photo shows two wooden masts with platforms and ladders, where two people are clipping into two parallel cables.

That is exactly the park's principle: zip line, climbing wall and jump all come in pairs, so two people can start at the same time. One photo shows the dark climbing wall with yellow holds next to the building, another a large frame of wooden masts with nets, hanging sacks and rope bridges, with lots of people on it at once.

The park has eleven courses with 95 stations over 1,100 metres, plus 400 metres of zip lines. Senior pays 22 € for two hours on standard days, Junior (from age 5 and 110 cm) 15 €. The 2026 season ends on 27 September.

You will find more facilities under Veneto and Trentino.
