Accessible high ropes courses
Where can people with disabilities climb? This overview collects what the operators state themselves – graded by what is actually possible.
Accessible" and "inclusive" are not the same thing. Accessible usually refers to the grounds: parking, a firm path, a toilet. Inclusive refers to the structure itself – whether someone with limited mobility can actually climb. There are forest parks with an accessible reception and not a single reachable course. This page therefore distinguishes by what the operator concretely offers.
Built for inclusion from the ground up
The site was planned for people with disabilities from the start – several ascents, assistive equipment, trained staff.
One course suitable
A particular route can also be done with a physical or intellectual disability, usually with support and by prior arrangement.
Operator states accessibility
The operator mentions accessibility or people with disabilities as a target group on their website, without giving technical detail. A call ahead is worthwhile here.

Reduced rate with a disability card
These sites grant the reduced rate to disability card holders. That is no substitute for accessibility, but it does show they expect the question.

What to ask beforehand
- How do you get up into the course – ladder, net, ramp or hoist?
- Is there a weight relief system?
- Can I reach the entry platform in a wheelchair?
- Is there staff who assist with transfers?
- How does the rescue work if someone gets stuck up there?
- Is there a ground-level course as an alternative?
What is missing here
For the vast majority of the 531 sites in this directory we have no information on accessibility – not because they are inaccessible, but because operators publish nothing about it. If you run or know a site where climbing with a disability is possible, write to us. We will add it. Report a site.
