Hochseilgarten Nagold: the mega zipline is included

In the northern Black Forest the big zipline costs nothing extra – elsewhere it is a surcharge. Plus archery, axe throwing from 18, and a 500-metre walk in along an old tank road.

Lukas Kontny sent us a photo of his zipline, and it shows exactly what sets Hochseilgarten Nagold apart from many others: here the zipline is not an extra you add at the till.

The mega zipline is part of the ticket

At quite a few facilities in the directory the big zipline is a surcharge – five, ten, sometimes more euros on top. In Nagold it is included in the admission, together with three hours of climbing. Anyone comparing prices should factor that in: 28 € for adults online, 22.90 € for teenagers from twelve, 18.91 € for children from six. The odd amounts come from the online discounts.

What else is on the grounds

The ropes course belongs to an adventure park, and the other activities are booked separately: archery from twelve, axe throwing from 18, each 19 € for an hour and from two people, plus an outdoor fitness course with multi-visit cards. For a group in which not everyone wants to go up into the trees, that is the alternative on the same site.

500 metres on foot – on tarmac

Our question about accessibility got an honest answer: from the car park it is about 500 metres on foot, but along a paved former tank road – no steps, no roots. There is no barrier-free course, but anyone planning the walk with a pushchair or a rollator now knows what to expect.
