"Kletterpark Markkleeberg: you pay by difficulty, not by time"

Kletterpark Markkleeberg sits right on the Markkleeberger See near Leipzig, part of a larger leisure site with a canoe park, adventure golf and soccer golf. The operator sent us five photos and, going through the entry, confirmed the details were already correct - a good reason to explain the pricing in more depth, since it is unusual in this directory.

Three levels, three prices

You pay by difficulty, not by time. Blue level costs 14 €, red 18 €, black 27 € - each 2 to 3 € more in the high season. If you already know you will skip the black courses, blue costs half the top price.

The price drops outside the high season. That is rare: most facilities in the directory keep one price for the whole season, here it falls by 2 to 3 € per level.

Age limits follow the levels: blue is open from age six, red from six with an adult and from eight alone, black only from age twelve.

Plan more time than the ticket promises

The ticket covers about 30 minutes of briefing and two hours of climbing. The operator explicitly asks visitors to plan for three hours on site - an honest detail that is missing elsewhere and causes disappointment there, once changing, waiting and the walk back to the car park are counted in.

The season runs from 18 April to 25 October, and the last climbing slot starts 2.5 hours before closing. The same grounds hold an adventure golf course with the same season - useful for a mixed group that does not want to pick one activity.
