Parco Avventura Tre Querce: zip lines and a climbing wall above Turin

Seven aerial courses, two baby courses and a climbing wall in the Parco Naturale della Collina di Superga near Pino Torinese. Silvia Brocardo sent us six photos, one of them taken from the air.

Silvia Brocardo from Parco Avventura Tre Querce sent us a Google Drive folder with six photos – free to use, with credit to the park and a link. The entry now shows the woods above Turin instead of the neutral drawing. Grazie mille!

A park in the green, close to the city

One of the pictures was taken from the air: wooded hills as far as the eye can see, a road with parked cars in the middle and the plain on the horizon. That is where the park lies: in the Parco Naturale della Collina di Superga, on the road between Pino Torinese and the Basilica of Superga, right next to Turin. The car park at the park itself is small; the operator points to two larger ones along the road, each about 15 minutes' walk away.

Zip lines, a climbing wall and first steps

The cover photo shows a woman on a zip line with nothing but sky above her. In another picture a girl with a big grin hangs from a zip line in the woods; in a third, one child lands on a green crash mat on a tree while another waits on the wooden platform. A green climbing wall stands right next to a big tree, with a few people watching from below. And close to the ground a woman holds the hand of a little boy who steps across a wooden beam in his harness and carabiners.

The park has two baby courses and seven aerial courses with more than 80 crossings, plus tree climbing on a 10-metre tree and an 11-metre climbing wall – both included in the ticket.

Who can go where?

The rules depend on age. Children aged three to six use the baby courses, accompanied by an adult who enters free. Six- to eight-year-olds may use the three junior courses, the tree climbing and the climbing wall; if the parents do not climb along, they supervise from the ground and need no ticket for that. Nine- to eleven-year-olds can do up to five courses with an adult climbing along in a harness, and 12- and 13-year-olds can also do the Avventura course. From age 14 all courses are open, but an adult must always supervise from the ground – again free of charge.

Children climb from 10 € (baby rate), adults pay 24 €. The park is partially accessible for people with disabilities; what is possible on the courses is assessed on site by the team together with the companions.

The season runs from early April to early November at weekends and on public holidays, from mid-June to the end of July also on Thursday and Friday afternoons, and daily throughout August and in the first two weeks of September. At weekends and on public holidays you must book in advance.

You will find more facilities in the area under Piedmont.
