Seilpark Engadin: the jump off the platform

Nine courses in the forest of Sur En and three quick-descent jumps straight off the platform. Seilpark Engadin sent us a picture of one.

Grant Fletcher of Seilpark Engadin sent us a photo from the park. The entry now shows it instead of the neutral drawing – thank you very much!

What the picture shows

A climber in a blue helmet has just left the wooden platform and hangs in the air on the quick-descent rope, legs pulled up. A second person in a green helmet waits on the platform behind. Larches stand all around.

Update of 1 November: Grant Fletcher has sent two more pictures, both now shown in the entry. In one, a child in a blue helmet balances across a row of wooden posts, clipped to the cable. In the other, someone in a blue helmet walks a slanted wooden bridge between two platforms, high up among the trees.

Nine courses by the Inn

The rope park lies in the forest of Sur En near Sent in the Lower Engadine and has been open since 2009. Four of the nine courses are built for children aged 3 to 12, the higher ones for teenagers and adults. What stands out are the three quick-descent jumps – the picture shows exactly such a moment.

Adults from 16 pay CHF 38, youths CHF 33, children on the children's courses CHF 23. Families get 5 % off from five people and 8 % from eight. The PostBus stop is right behind the covered wooden bridge by the campsite, and a cycling and walking path runs along the Inn from Scuol. Until 25 October the park opens daily from 11 am to 6 pm; it stays closed in bad weather.

You will find more facilities in the area under Graubünden.
