AREA 47 Hochseilgarten

Ötztal-Bahnhof / Haiming · Tirol · from age 12

At 27 metres the highest high ropes course in Tyrol, embedded in the outdoor park at the entrance to the Ötztal.

What makes AREA 47 special

AREA 47 at the mouth of the Ötztal is not a climbing park but an outdoor leisure park in which the high ropes course is one attraction among many. That shapes the pricing too: you pay per activity, not one ticket for everything.

The climbing tower is, at 27 metres, Austria's highest artificial climbing tower. On the same structure hang the high ropes course, a mega swing and a flying fox – the way there leads across a suspended walkway.

The flying fox measures 400 metres and costs from 31 € for adults and 26 € for children, the mega swing likewise from 31 €. The climbing tower alone starts at 8 €. For those wanting more: the valley swing with 45 metres of free fall starts at 103 €, bungee jumping from the Benni Raich bridge at 140 €.

The age limits are higher here than in a family park: from age 12 for the high ropes course, flying fox and mega swing, from 14 for the valley swing and bungee. Only the climbing tower has no age limit. For small children AREA 47 is therefore not the first choice – for teenagers all the more.
