What makes Elias Adventure Park special
The park lies in the Sarca valley roughly halfway between Dro and Pietramurata, below the face of Monte Brento, which draws base jumpers and climbers from all over the world. The site covers a good one and a half hectares, the Sarca runs through it and the Marocche trail circles it. It is about a quarter of an hour from the northern shore of Lake Garda.
The course is built on rock, trees and artificial poles. On the blue Junior course the operator says it was the first park to use a continuous safety line on rock: once clipped in, you stay secured to the end. The red Emotion course takes about 50 minutes on average and has seven zip lines.
The highlight is the Big Zip on the black course: about 220 metres across the Sarca and 140 metres back, adding up to 522 metres of zip line with the other slides. There is a maximum weight of 95 kg, closed shoes are compulsory, and dogs are not allowed, even on a lead.
