What makes Lanové centrum DDM Praha special
The rope course belongs to the City of Prague's house of children and youth and sits on Libeň Island, on the grounds of the Loděnice Vltava boathouse. It is not a leisure attraction but an educational facility – communication, trust and teamwork come first in the programme.
Billing goes by the hour and per person, not by the round. A programme runs at least two hours, or three for the water-and-air combination.
The price drops sharply from five people: from 240 to 180 Kč for adults and from 170 to 120 Kč for children up to 18 and students with ID. Coming as a pair therefore costs a third more than coming as a group.
Low and high obstacles complement each other. The low ones exist to build a feel for moving above the ground before going up to the obstacles at around eight metres. There is a climbing wall as well.
Canoeing can be added – on the still backwater of the Vltava, along with a campfire and sausages. No other site in this directory offers that combination.
The accompanying teacher is free, one per ten pupils.
