What makes Lanový park Teplice special
The park sits on the roof of a Kaufland on Čs. dobrovolců, next to the Na Stínadlech stadium. The operator calls it the largest rope park in the Ústí region.
The site consists of three separate parts – and only one of them is a high ropes course in the sense of this directory.
The family route is the ropes course: twelve obstacles between steel poles with transfer platforms, belayed on the continuous Saferoller system with a retracting device at the entry. Harness, helmet and lanyard set are compulsory, an instructor briefs and checks before the first obstacle. Only one person is allowed on each obstacle.
But it is not freely accessible. The family route and the zip line are available solely by prior order and for larger groups. Turning up on the day will not get you onto it.
The children's route is not a climbing course in the narrow sense: 14 huts joined by suspended walkways carrying obstacles, made safe by catch nets. The operator states expressly that you move around there without any belay. In return it is open daily, has no time limit and holds 140 people.
The zip line is from twelve years and built for 40 to 130 kilos; at most three people at a time.
