Parc Aventure Chaumont

Neuchâtel (Chaumont) · Neuchâtel · from age 4

Forest adventure park on the Chaumont above Neuchâtel with views over the three lakes and the Alps – 13 courses up to 28 metres, a 700-metre zip-line cascade and a 13-metre Quick Jump.

What makes Parc Aventure Chaumont special

The park sits on the Chaumont, Neuchâtel's local mountain, about 15 minutes from the city; by public transport the operator points to line 111. From the upper platforms you can see across the three lakes to the Alps.

13 courses, going very high: blue reaches 27 metres and has two zip lines of 170 metres each, red goes up to 28 metres, and black, with a caving ladder and rotating logs, is the strength course. ZigZag is a 700-metre cascade of nine zip lines. On the Quick Jump you climb ten metres and then drop 13 metres.

Safety: the kids' courses have a continuous Saferoller line, the others the Clic-it system, where only one karabiner can be open at a time.

More than climbing: the site also has outdoor laser game, two outdoor escape games and a monster trampoline, plus picnic tables, a small grill and a restaurant nearby. Dogs on a lead are allowed. Booking online saves about CHF 4 per person; the operator prefers questions by e-mail because the phone network on the Chaumont is unreliable.
