Pianezze Avventura

Valdobbiadene (Pianezze, Monte Cesen) · Veneto · from age 3

Forest ropes park above 1,000 metres on Monte Cesen above Valdobbiadene: nine courses, seven of them in the trees, plus a Tubby slide and the Stella Alpina restaurant.

What makes Pianezze Avventura special

The park is in Pianezze, Valdobbiadene's mountain hamlet, in the woods of Monte Cesen at over 1,000 metres. From the Cesen the view stretches across the Venetian plain to the Venice lagoon. It is run together with the Stella Alpina restaurant and pizzeria on Via Pineta.

Nine courses: two for children aged three to six and seven colour-coded tree courses. Pink is a short introduction, Green stays at 1.5 to 2 metres, Yellow and Purple (2 to 6 m) are intermediate, Blue and Orange climb to 4 to 7 metres and partly finish with a zipline. The Red course at 8 to 10 metres is the hardest and reserved for experienced climbers aged ten and over.

Before starting, everyone gets a briefing and a practice course; staff stay in the park throughout. Allow two to three hours. To finish there is the Tubby slide, an artificial-turf run you ride down on an inflatable ring.

You pay by level (Baby, Junior, Master, Adventure), optionally with slide rides or as an all-day ticket with no time limit. Companions who do not climb pay nothing.
