What makes Piciocaa Adventure Park special
The brothers Michele and Stefano set up the park in 2011 on the existing playground of Pera di Fassa, among tall spruces and larches right on the cycle path. You reach it from state road 48 over a bridge across the Avisio; there is a large car park.
Three levels: the adult area starts at the northern end of the site with easy obstacles and builds up to ziplines and a 13-metre jump into the void, similar to a bungee jump. The operator gives the zipline across the river as 160 or 200 metres depending on the page and calls it the only one of its kind in the valley.
For the youngest there are dedicated courses where they learn safety and walking on ropes and logs; with their parents they can also try a small via ferrata and rock climbing. The site also has a pond with a raft, an artificial-turf pitch for football and tennis, and a bar serving lunch.
Practical: no booking is needed, payment is cash only. In uncertain weather the operator recommends calling ahead.

For children: The Bruco course in the children's package is meant for ages two and up; the children's package requires 1.00 m, the Drago course eight years and 1.30 m. The adult package applies from 1.40 m.
