What makes Soča Fun Park special

The park lies on the right bank of the Soča near Solkan, in the shade of the canopy above the emerald river. Even the approach is part of it: you cross the Soča on a cycle bridge before reaching the courses.

Five polygons with 55 elements, named by colour from orange through yellow, green and blue to red. The orange area is built for children aged five to nine, the main part sits three to twelve metres up.

Instead of age limits the park works with reach: 130 cm with stretched arms for orange, 150 cm for yellow, 160 cm for the rest. That is more precise than an age, but hard to check before setting off – best to stand the child against a wall at home with arms raised and measure.

Prices: 12 € for children aged five to eight (orange), 4 € more for yellow, 18 € for teenagers up to 15, 20 € from 16. A round takes about two hours.

Bookable separately is a zip line over 550 metres in both directions for 15 € – take-off weight 25 to 125 kg. Open from March to November, considerably longer than most alpine parks.
