What makes Waldseilpark Rheinfelden special
The park is new: it opened on 6 June 2026 and lies on Hochgerichtweg by the Schiffacker/Engerfeld sports grounds, not far from the Rhine. The operator describes it as the only forest rope park in the canton of Aargau. The "Rheinfelden, Engerfeld" bus stop (line 100) is a two-minute walk away, the station about 20 minutes on foot; parking is limited.
The belay is continuous with "Clic-It Easy": the hook is fed in at the start of a course and only taken off at the end, so nobody has to clip over along the way. There are currently seven courses in four difficulty grades, two of them for children from age 4; two more courses and some 16 additional elements are planned.
Long summer evenings: from mid-June to the end of August the park is open until 8 pm, on weekdays from 12.30 pm. The last briefing is two hours before closing. A signed consent form must be brought for every participant.
Closed for the rest of 2026: because of the drought and the risk of falling branches the park will not reopen this year. It is run by Adventure Coaching & Rope Solutions GmbH from Frenkendorf, which also operates Waldseilpark Wasserfallen.

For children: The children's park is for kids from age 4 up to 40 kg with a grip height of at least 100 cm, the big courses from age 8 with a grip height of 140 cm. Up to 12 an adult climbs along (at most five children per adult); 13- to 17-year-olds without an adult need written consent.
