CLiiMBER Flumserberg: climbing on three levels above the alp
A 15-metre tower with more than 100 climbing stations, six ziplines over 700 metres and a separate area for little ones. Bergbahnen Flumserberg sent us five pictures of the CLiiMBER.

Désirée Schmed, who looks after marketing, partners and events at Bergbahnen Flumserberg, sent us five photos of the CLiiMBER Flumserberg. They were taken in summer, under a blue sky with mountains in the background. The entry now shows these pictures instead of the neutral drawing – thank you very much!
A tower instead of a forest
The CLiiMBER is not a forest rope park. The cover photo shows what sets it apart: a free-standing frame of steel tubes with platforms, nets and rope bridges, climbers out on several levels, and on the left someone gliding through the air on a cable. The aerial photo shows the whole site from above – the tower on the meadow of the Prodalp, a timber building beside it, forest and mountains behind. The tower stands right next to the top station of the Prodalp-Express gondola; a gondola cabin can be seen in two of the pictures.
Three levels, more than 100 stations
The tower is 15 metres high, and each of its three levels has more than 30 climbing elements of different shapes and difficulty. There is no fixed order – you switch between stations as you like. One photo shows a climber sitting with her arms raised above the large wooden "CLiiMBER" lettering. Before your first climb the instruction course is compulsory, and a guide checks your equipment every time you start.
The climbing ticket includes the flyingCLiiMBER: six ziplines over 700 metres. There is also the CLiiMBERwall with five routes up to six metres high, and the miniCLiiMBER, a separate area for children from 4. In one picture a boy in a cap climbs a wall with yellow holds; in another, children in helmets balance along a wooden beam just above the grass.
Good to know
Teenagers and adults from 1.40 m may climb the tower, children from 1.30 m with an adult. A ticket is valid for three hours: adults from 20 pay CHF 36.50, young people aged 16 to 19 CHF 29, children aged 6 to 15 CHF 18.50. The gondola is not included; with a return trip the ticket costs CHF 51, 41.50 or 25.50. The starting point is Tannenheim on the Flumserberg, where the tickets are also sold. The PostBus runs there from Sargans via Flums.
The season runs until 18 October, daily from 10 am to 4.30 pm. Groups of more than ten people book by phone.
You will find more facilities in the area under St. Gallen.
