Kletterwald Graz: pictures from the Hilmteich

13 courses in the middle of the city, from the KIDS area up to the High Jump from 20 metres. Kletterwald Graz sent us photos, a course map and an aerial shot.

Jakob Kalas, managing director of Kletterwald Graz, sent us pictures from the park. The entry now shows four of them instead of the neutral drawing – thank you very much!

What the pictures show

In the first picture two children with helmets and harnesses stand on a platform giving a thumbs up. A second shows a climbing tower in the middle of the green forest with someone climbing up. Then there is the course map: it shows the KIDS, FAMILY and high-rope areas, the zip-line route and the Hilmteich pond at the bottom. Finally, the aerial shot shows the Hilmteich in autumn, with colourful trees and the city behind.

Climbing without a car

The park lies in the Leechwald by the Hilmteich and therefore inside the city of Graz. 13 courses with over 100 elements spread over more than a kilometre of climbing; the zip-line course alone has ten zip lines. The High Jump drops into the void from 20 metres.

You pay by the courses you are cleared for: from €14.50 for the two KIDS courses from age four up to €35.50 for all courses including the High Jump. The season runs until early November; the times are in the calendar on the operator's website.

You will find more facilities in the area under Styria.
