What makes Kletterwald Graz special
It sits in the middle of the city. The Leechwald by the Hilmteich is part of Graz itself — you need no car, and that sets the site apart from nearly every other one in Styria.
13 courses with over 100 exercises are spread across more than a kilometre of route. The zipline course alone has ten ziplines, the longest measuring 50 metres.
The High Jump goes from 20 metres into thin air — a controlled jump, and rare at that height.
You pay for the courses you are cleared for, not for time. Six tiers from 14.50 € for the two KIDS courses to 35.50 € for all eleven courses including the High Jump. So if you come with a four-year-old, you do not pay for routes they are not allowed on anyway.
For the smallest there is more than just waiting: a balance course, a forest marble run and a sandpit. The sun terrace looks out over the Hilmteich, and benches and picnic spots are spread through the forest.
At the hut beside the terrace you find the desk, equipment, toilets and lockable lockers; a machine dispenses cold drinks and snacks. The season began on 28 March 2026.

For children: The two KIDS courses and the children's climbing tree are open from four. From 110 cm the five FAMILY courses and the zipline course are added, and from 140 cm the high ropes area and the High Jump.
