Parc Aventure Genève: three parallel zip lines in the Parc des Évaux

Thirteen courses in the trees, three parallel 130-metre zip lines and courses for children from age three on the edge of Geneva. Tristan Biner sent us six photos.

Tristan Biner from Parc Aventure Genève sent us six photos along with a revised text. Both have gone into the entry, which now shows the forest instead of the neutral drawing. Merci beaucoup!

A climbing forest in the green on the edge of the city

The park lies in the Parc des Évaux between Onex, Bernex and Lancy. You can get there on foot, by bike, by car and by public transport.

The cover photo shows a little girl balancing on a wooden platform with her arms spread wide, next to her an adult in a climbing harness keeping his hands close to her. In another picture a small boy steps along a log beside a wooden wall with colourful holds, clipped to a steel cable above him.

Nets, tubes and a big tower

The other photos show how different the routes look: a young man working his way up a large rope net; a boy sitting in a tube of wooden slats giving a thumbs-up; a girl holding on to her safety line while an adult stands on a platform behind her. One picture shows a tall wooden tower with several platforms and a staircase, with children and adults in harnesses standing on it.

The park has thirteen acrobatic courses in the trees for different ages and levels. The youngest climb from age three. On the big courses you are busy for about three hours.

Three zip lines side by side

One highlight is the three parallel zip lines of 130 metres each: three people can set off side by side.

The park offers its own packages for children's birthdays, and at Halloween there is tree climbing at night. It is generally open from March to early November. At weekends and in the school holidays it is best to book ahead.

You will find more facilities in the area under Geneva.
