Climbing time is unlimited. Within opening hours no clock runs – the exception in this directory. Almost everywhere else you buy two to three hours, and at Blankenburg or Magdeburg every quarter or half hour beyond that costs money.

Night climbing runs for groups of eight to 30, with glow sticks or torches and the forest hung with lanterns. The supplement is 3 € on every rate.

Reachable by train. The Ferienpark stop is in Schöneck itself, and there is a bus stop at the roundabout. Among the sites in this directory that is a rarity.
