Dolomiti Adventure Park
Forni di Sopra · Friuli-Venezia Giulia · from age 2
Forest ropes course in Forni di Sopra in the Friulian Dolomites: eleven routes with more than 100 platforms, a cube built from storm timber, the Giungla climbing structure and a 15-metre jump.
What makes Dolomiti Adventure Park special
The park is in the Santaviela area of Forni di Sopra, next to the chairlifts up the Varmost, with the Tagliamento river right behind it. The operator, Spazio Verticale, calls it the largest adventure park in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Eleven routes with more than 100 platforms. At the end of 2018 the Vaia storm badly damaged the forest; afterwards every route was restored or rebuilt. In 2020 the Adventure Cube was added, a seven-by-seven-by-seven-metre cube made from the timber of fallen trees, along with tree houses for small children. Since August 2024 the blue and black routes have run on the Giungla, an artificial larch-wood structure.
The highlights for experienced climbers are the purple route with a zip line of about 100 metres, the red route at twelve metres, and the Powerfan, a free jump from 15 metres. Safety relies on interlinked carabiners that cannot both be opened at once.
You pay at the end, according to which routes you completed – so there is no need to decide in advance. No booking is needed. There is a picnic area on site, and dogs on a lead are welcome.
