What makes Hochseilgarten Jugendscheune Neukloster special

The ropes course belongs to the Jugendscheune at Klosterhof in Neukloster, between Wismar and Schwerin. Climbing happens at around ten metres, over beams, on ropes and with jumps.

It is not a site for individual visitors. Bookings start at ten people – turning up as a pair will not get you into the trees. That makes it squarely a place for school classes, youth groups and teams.

In return there is no season. The operator writes "all year round, seven days a week and around the clock" – the timing follows the group, not a calendar. Reservations are taken Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4.30 pm.

The programme is choosable. Instead of one fixed round there are scenarios: more of a team experience, or more action and adrenaline. The operator advises beforehand.

Belaying uses a self-belay system with a partner check – so the group checks itself, which fits the educational slant.

The operator names no prices. There is a heading reading "price list", but only the booking condition below it. Anyone wanting to know what a round costs has to call.
