What makes Kletterwald Hamburg special
Seven of the eight courses end with a zipline — only course 4 does not. That is a design decision you notice: every round has a finish rather than simply petering out.
Access is graded in four height steps from 110 through 130 and 140 to 160 cm. That lets you work out before you set off exactly what a child will be able to reach.
The parking fee is refunded. You leave the car in the car park at the Meiendorfer Weg underground station and get 2 € back on showing the ticket — a small amount, but typical of a site inside the city and reachable by underground.
Total use is 2.5 hours from the start of the briefing, which takes around 30 minutes; so actual climbing time is about two hours.
Because hours fluctuate during the week, the operator explicitly asks for an online booking in advance.
