Kletterwald Hornpark

St. Johann in Tirol · Tirol · from age 3

The largest high ropes course in the Kitzbühel Alps with over 11 courses and more than 106 elements, right at the Harschbichl mid-station.

What makes Kletterwald Hornpark special

Seven courses from green and yellow to red 1 and red 2, plus a mini and a training course: more than 106 elements make Hornpark the largest high ropes course in the Kitzbühel Alps.

The flagship is the flying fox course with 530 metres of descent – the zip lines run across the lake, which sets the site apart from the region's pure forest courses.

Entry is graded three ways: the mini course from age three and 100 cm, most courses from age six and 110 cm, the demanding ones from age eight and 140 cm. The flying fox takes 40 to 90 kg, general climbing up to 120 kg. Gloves, helmet and sturdy shoes are mandatory – flip-flops stay in the car park.

The site sits at the mid-station of the Harschbichl lift and is reachable by gondola, on foot or by bike. Open Wednesday to Sunday from May to October, daily from 9 am in July and August.
