Kletterwald Kassel
Kassel · Hessen · from age 4
The Europaseilbahn runs about 800 metres and ranks among the longest zip lines in Europe. Climbing starts at four.
What makes Kletterwald Kassel special
The Europaseilbahn is around 800 metres long. The operator calls it the highlight of the climbing forest and counts it among the longest zip lines in Europe. In this directory it is by far the longest – for comparison, the run across the Fühlinger See in Cologne measures 300 metres.
The Zwergenticket couples child and adult. 38 € for a child aged four to five together with an adult companion – against 19 € plus 28 € separately.
The discount list is long and specific: groups of ten or more, partner organisations, KasselCard holders, birthday parties of six or more, people with a disability card, and students and pensioners from 60. Two euros off every age tier.
Gloves are included. Unlike many sites that sell them for 2.50 to 3.50 €, here they are part of the hire kit.
Spectators pay nothing, and the operator asks for debit card rather than cash – the opposite of the cash-only sites in this directory.
School classes pay by year group: 19 € in years four to six, 20 € in years seven to 13, with one chaperone free per ten pupils.
