Parc Aventure de St-George
Saint-George · Vaud · from age 2
Forest adventure park at around 1,000 metres in the Vaud Jura above Rolle and Aubonne – courses on five levels, a 15-metre climbing pole and views over Lake Geneva and the Alps.
What makes Parc Aventure de St-George special
The park sits at about 1,000 metres in the woods above Saint-George (Chemin du Téléski), about 15 minutes from Aubonne and the Allaman motorway exit. From the bus stop in Saint-George it is a 20-minute uphill walk. The operator promises cool shade in summer and a sheltered, sunny clearing in autumn.
Five levels from yellow to black: levels 1 and 2 have a continuous lifeline that children never have to unclip; the elements on level 1 are built so parents can help from the ground. Level 3 adds several zip lines, while levels 4 and 5 become physically and technically demanding. The descent device on the black course is limited to 110 kg.
The climbing pole: a 15-metre pole with holds and an auto-belay is the vertical bonus challenge.
Family-friendly: companions on the ground pay nothing, families of four or more get a discount, there is a snack bar in the middle of the park and shelters can be hired for parties. Gloves are compulsory.
