Adventure park in a beech wood in the little-known Valle Imagna, founded in 2009 by two former scouts – with a black course and polenta at the kiosk.
What makes Parco Avventura Roncola special
The park is in Roncola in the Valle Imagna, which the operator calls the least known valley in the province of Bergamo, in a beech wood. Andrea and Marco opened it in March 2009, inspired by their scouting years building tree houses and camps. Today it is part of Parchi Avventura Bergamo, together with the park in Torre Boldone.
For ages 3 to 6 there are three easy 'Pulcini' courses with 7 to 9 elements, and separate children's courses for ages 7 to 11. From age 12 and up to 100 kg come blue (21 elements), red (8, difficult) and black (9, very difficult).
Booking is not needed except for groups, and residents of Roncola get 20 % off. The WoodeTe kiosk serves local cold-cut and cheese platters and polenta; a picnic area is at the neighbouring municipal playground. Open until the end of October.
