Forest rope park near the Fürenalp lift valley station in Engelberg: six lines from age 8 and 130 cm, plus three continuously belayed kids' routes from age 4 and 1 m.
What makes Seilpark Engelberg special
The park lies in the woods on Wasserfallstrasse, three minutes from the Fürenalp lift car park. The free village bus runs from Engelberg station to the Fürenalpbahn stop; on foot it is 45 to 60 minutes from the village.
Six lines of varying difficulty lead over bridges, Nepal bridges and zip lines from tree to tree. They are open from age 8 and 130 cm; children aged 8 to 11 climb only with an adult, those aged 11 to 14 under supervision. A ticket is valid for three hours. To complete every course, arrive by 4 pm – the last start on line 6 is at 5.10 pm.
The main lines use the CLiC-iT belay system, which always keeps one carabiner locked. On the kids' course with three routes, children from age 4 and 1 m clip in once with the Saferoller, which protects them continuously to the end.
Birthday children climb free on the day itself. The same operator also offers kayaking on the Trübsee and archery.
