Seilpark Pontresina
Pontresina · Graubünden · from age 4
Rope park run by Go Vertical GmbH in a small larch wood near Pontresina station and sports arena, with courses close to the ground from age 4 up to courses C and D from age 14.
What makes Seilpark Pontresina special
The park is run by Go Vertical GmbH, a mountain guide and outdoor company that also operates the Serlas climbing hall in S-chanf. It is at Via Veglia 21 in a small larch wood not far from the station and the sports arena, with a barbecue area and a kiosk selling snacks, ice cream and drinks.
No car park of its own: there is no parking right at the park. You park at the Cuntschett car park by the station or come by public transport; from the village it is a short walk over the old bridge.
Courses are cleared by age: X and Y close to the ground from age 4, A, G, H and I from 6 (G with a free fall), B and E with zip lines from 8, the technically demanding F from 10, C and D from 14. Six-year-olds who also want to do A, G, H and I pay a CHF 7 supplement.
Children up to 14 climb with an adult on the course, with no more than four children per adult. Supervision by rope park staff is available only on advance booking and for a fee. Sturdy shoes with good soles and basic fitness are required. Last entry is two hours before closing; in bad weather the park stays closed, and when the weather is uncertain the rope park's phone line gives information.
