Spider Park Pfelders

Moos in Passeier / Pfelders · Südtirol · from age 6

Small high ropes course in car-free Pfelders at the head of the Passeier valley: four courses up to more than 18 metres, a zip line course with four zip lines up to 40 metres above the Pfelderer stream and a net course for toddlers.

What makes Spider Park Pfelders special

Spider Park lies in Pfelders, surrounded by pastures, larches and the 3,000-metre peaks of the Ötztal Alps. Pfelders is traffic-calmed: you park at the barrier at the village entrance and walk for about 15 minutes.

The park is compact: introductory, training and practice courses (35 to 70 metres long, easy to fairly easy) and a medium Profi course with twelve exercises over 85 metres, with obstacles more than 18 metres up. What sets it apart is the zip line course: four zip lines up to 40 metres above the Pfelderer stream, taking about 20 minutes. There is also a net course with twelve exercises for the youngest.

Protection uses a Bornack system that only lets you unclip from one cable once the second carabiner is attached to the next. Both operators are children's climbing instructors and trained paramedics. Last entry is two hours before closing; outside high summer the park is closed on Wednesdays.
