What makes Abenteuerpark Schloss Lichtenstein special
The park lies below Lichtenstein Castle, the fairytale castle above the Echaz valley, and combines well with a tour of the castle.
Eleven courses with 200 obstacles run from three to eighteen metres — one of the larger sites in Baden-Württemberg.
Every course has its own minimum age, and the grading is unusually fine: the first four open from eight, or from six by arrangement. From there it steps up every two years — course 5 from ten, 6 from twelve, 7 from fourteen, 8 and 9 from sixteen. Course 10 is reserved for adults from eighteen. With a mixed-age group you can work out in advance exactly how far each person gets.
Time can be extended: four hours instead of three cost 4 € extra, every further hour 7 €.
After eight visits you get a season pass free — an unusual loyalty model that pays off for families from the region. In groups, from 15 paying guests the sixteenth person is free.
A head covering under the helmet is mandatory and available for 3 €; card payment is accepted.

For children: The courses are graded by age: the first four from eight (from six by arrangement), course 5 from ten, 6 from twelve, 7 from fourteen, 8 and 9 from sixteen and course 10 from eighteen. Children under eleven need direct supervision, with one adult supervising at most two children.
