What makes Adventurepark Präbichl special

According to the operator, the park on the Präbichl pass is one of the largest and most modern rope gardens in Austria. Two courses stand out: the panorama course with its Burma bridges, and the lake promenade course running high above the Grüblsee.

Climbing above a mountain lake is rare even in Styria – the view down is what sets this site apart from the forest courses nearby.

The park is run by the ALPFOX mountain and ski school, which also operates the Flying Fox, the mountain carts, the bike arena and the e-trial course up on the pass. The climbing park runs from late May to early November: at weekends, on public holidays and bridging days from 10 am to 5 pm in the pre- and late season, and daily from 10 am to 6 pm between early July and mid-September. A closed week sits in between at the end of June and again in mid-September. One ticket covers the climbing park and the Flying Fox together; children up to eight pay less but may only use the climbing park. Groups can come outside opening hours by arrangement.
