What makes Hochseilpark Böhmerwald special

First things first: the operator states that the site remains closed for the 2026 season for rebuilding work. Anyone planning a trip should call ahead.

When open, the high ropes park in Schöneben is Upper Austria's largest. Seven climbing courses build on one another – from two entry courses through two blue ones and a red one to a black one that demands strength and nerve and ends with three flying fox lines. A slide course joins them.

Climbing happens between one metre above the forest floor and twelve metres up. The minimum height is 130 cm, under 14 an adult climbs along.

The most recently published prices: 27 € from age 16, 23 € below; on the family rate 25 € for parents and 21 € for children. We do not carry them as data here, because new prices are likely after a rebuild.

The park is run by mountain and ski guide Günter Hofbauer, a few minutes from the Waldlerdorf.
