Kletterpark Schöckl

Sankt Radegund bei Graz · Steiermark · from 100 cm

Climbing park at the valley station of the Schöckl cable car, the classic day out for Graz.

What makes Kletterpark Schöckl special

Six courses at different difficulty levels run two to twelve metres up through shaded woodland at the foot of the Schöckl. The two most talked-about stations are the Tarzan swing on the black course and the "leap into the void" from about seven metres on the fun course.

Securing uses the SafetyLine system with dedicated safety carabiners – continuous, with no re-clipping, at the highest safety level of the high ropes standard. Helmets are not compulsory; rental helmets are available at the desk.

Entry depends on height: 100 cm for green and blue, 130 cm for red and the fun course, 140 cm for the black course. Under 14 an adult climbs along, and the weight limit is 120 kg.

The park sits at around 800 metres altitude right next to the valley station of the Schöckl cable car in St. Radegund – for Graz, the closest destination of this size.
