What makes Kletterwald Pöhl special
Ten courses across every grade, from routes for small children to ones the operator recommends only to practised athletes and climbers. At the top the site reaches 16 metres.
Companions pay nothing. If you watch rather than climb, you enter the grounds free. Together with the 15 € children's rate that makes a family outing easy to budget.
The family tickets are finely graded – five variants from one adult with two children at 45 € up to two adults with three children at 75 €. Two adults and two children pay 65 € rather than 74 €.
The birthday child climbs free, up to age eleven and in a group of six or more.
The operator does more than climbing. The offering at the reservoir also includes raft building and boat hire – enough for groups to build a whole day around.
Groups save at two levels: 10 % from ten people, 20 % from twenty.
The season runs April to October, Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am. During the summer holidays the last admission is at 4 pm – worth planning for if you arrive late.
