Parco Avventura Antharesworld
Candia Canavese · Piemonte · from age 5
Forest ropes course on Lake Candia, opened in 2003: ten courses with 68 elements, a Tarzan jump from 12 metres and a pool included in the ticket.
What makes Parco Avventura Antharesworld special
The park sits in a wood of lime and plane trees right on the shore of Lake Candia, inside the nature park of the same name about 35 km from Turin. It opened in spring 2003; the operator calls it the first ropes park in Piedmont and the third in Italy.
Ten courses with 68 elements climb from about 1.5 metres up to 12 metres. Three are meant for children under eight, accompanied by their parents. At the top end come the spider jump at 10 metres on the yellow course and the Tarzan jump at 12 metres on the black course, which finishes with a 75-metre zip line. There is also a 13-metre climbing tree and a 10-metre climbing wall.
Safety relies on a continuous lifeline, and you only go up after a practice course. The operator reckons on two and a half to three hours for all courses.
If you want to cool off afterwards, the site's outdoor pool is open in summer and included in the ticket. The operator recommends booking on Sundays and for groups of eight or more.
