Parco Avventura Gran Paradiso

Locana · Piemonte · from 110 cm

Ropes park in an old chestnut wood near Locana at the gateway to Gran Paradiso National Park: seven courses, tree climbing and a campervan pitch.

What makes Parco Avventura Gran Paradiso special

The park is near Locana in the Orco Valley, the first village inside Gran Paradiso National Park, about 67 km from Turin. The courses run through a wood of centuries-old chestnut trees.

Seven courses of different lengths and difficulty are named after peaks and places in the valley. Along the way there are Tibetan bridges, moving walkways, zip lines and leaps into the void. Safety relies on a continuous lifeline that you clip into once at the start; a briefing and a practice course come before the first route.

Tree climbing (Up2Tree) is the newest addition. The site also has pitches for campervans and tents, a barbecue and picnic area, laser tag and a small football pitch, and the operator arranges canyoning and guided mountain tours.

The operator does not publish 2026 opening times on its website. It is worth calling before you go.
