Praudina Adventure Park
Santa Maria Maggiore (Valle Vigezzo) · Piemonte · from age 3
Small rope park in the pine wood of Santa Maria Maggiore in the Vigezzo valley: a baby course from age three, a Tibetan-bridge course and three ziplines, charged by time.
What makes Praudina Adventure Park special
The park stands in the Pineta of Santa Maria Maggiore, the pine wood on the edge of the village that also holds the Vigezzo valley's other sports facilities. The municipality's page describes it as a facility with very little impact on the environment; it is run by a local sports association.
Three short courses rather than one large park: Baby PAP, with six elements (ladder, plank walkway, arches, net bridge, rung walkway, balance beam), is meant for 3- to 5-year-olds. Step PAP has eight elements, including a tunnel, a Tibetan bridge and a cableway. Fly PAP consists of a vertical ladder and three ziplines of 21, 47 and 27 metres.
You pay for time, not rounds: 45 minutes on Baby or 90 minutes on Step or Fly, going round as often as the queue allows. The first eight minutes are the briefing, and everyone has to complete the practice course. On the course you move independently under a supervisor's eye.
The season is short: in 2026 from late May to mid-September, weekends only in early summer, also some weekday afternoons in July and almost daily in August. The park closes in rain or strong wind.
