Zipline Stoderzinken

Gröbming · Steiermark · from age 8

A 2.5-kilometre zip line from the Stoderzinken down into the valley – one of the longest in the country.

What makes the Stoderzinken zip line special

This is not a ropes course but a pure zip line – and quite one: 2.5 kilometres of flight path in two sections, gliding at 65 to 115 km/h and up to 161 metres above the ground. The operator calls it the largest zip line system in the Alps.

Unlike in a climbing park you climb nothing here. You are strapped in, brought into position and fly. That is exactly what makes the site interesting for people who would struggle with the exercises in a high ropes course – no strength is needed.

Entry is from age eight, take-off weight must be between 30 and 125 kilos. Under 14 an adult flies along. Children up to 15 pay 27 €, from 16 it is 42 € – the shuttle to the start is included.

The 2026 season runs from 14 May to 1 November, with operating days varying by period. The operator also runs the Abenteuerpark Gröbming down in the valley, so both can be combined in one day.
