The park sits on the grounds of the former Gänserndorf safari park in the Marchfeld, a good half hour from Vienna.
There is a day rate, not a time scale: 35 € from ten years, 33 € for children aged six to nine. Come more often and you pay 105 € or 99 € a year — which pays off from the third visit.
With the Lower Austria card the 'small adventure' is free once a season.
One point for planning: in poor weather the operator reserves the right to change opening hours, and admission is then not refunded. Checking the forecast is worth more here than elsewhere.
