What makes Kletterpark Purkersdorf special
The park sits 20 minutes from Vienna in the middle of the Vienna Woods – for anyone in the city, the climbing park you reach without making a day trip of it. The operator describes the atmosphere as "jungle feeling".
Entry is graded by height: under 110 cm children climb for free on the toddlers' course and the climbing playground, from 110 cm the low courses open up, from 140 cm the higher ones. Up to the age of 14 an adult comes along – on the low courses accompanying from the ground is enough.
There is no time limit: you can repeat the same route as often as you like. The last briefing is about two hours before closing. There is food on site and pizza can be ordered directly. The season runs April to October, daily 10 am to 7 pm in July and August.
