Kletterpark Wartmannstetten

Wartmannstetten · Niederösterreich · from age 3

Ten courses from a toddler area at 90 cm up to the black course, plus eastern Austria's highest zip line at 25 metres.

What makes Kletterpark Wartmannstetten special

Ten courses cover an unusually wide range – from two toddler areas with farm and fairy-tale themes from 90 cm in height, up to the black course, which is open from age 15 and demands stamina. In between sit a warm-up course, a family course with a "galaxy tunnel" and a red course with its own chairlift element.

The flagship is the panorama zip line: at 25 metres, according to the operator the highest in eastern Austria, and for adults only. There are two further flying foxes plus the "Bacherl Fox" with five quick flights.

The ticket covers helmet, harness, briefing and access to every course; season passes are available too. Three-year-olds can climb without their older siblings getting bored – that range is what makes the park work for families with an age gap.
