What makes Hochseilgarten Dülmen special
The ropes course stands on the grounds of the children's home on Lüdinghauser Straße in Dülmen. It has existed for more than 15 years and was built from the start for adventure-education and therapeutic programmes, not as a day out.
There is no admission, only site hire. Up to 18 participants pay 480 € for four hours, 630 € for six and 680 € for eight. Up to 30 participants it is 810 € and 885 € – there is no four-hour booking at that size. Instructors are included in the price.
More than 70 active instructors work here, trained through the site's own certification with licence levels A and B. The training follows the ERCA standard for permanent ropes courses.
Booking does not go through the ropes course itself but through the Katholisches Bildungswerk Borken on 02861 8040920. That is unusual and the commonest reason enquiries go nowhere.
There are no fixed opening hours. Anyone wanting to climb as an individual will find no place here – except through the children's taster course arranged by Dülmen Marketing.
