Hochseilgarten Düsseldorf
Düsseldorf · Nordrhein-Westfalen · from age 8
Düsseldorf's only ropes course sits at the Unterbacher See and offers two separate sites with different belay systems – plus archery, raft building and canoeing.
What makes Hochseilgarten Düsseldorf special
Two sites with different belay systems stand side by side here — something you rarely find. The Fan-Tour 100 runs on the Roperoller, a continuous belay in which you operate no safety-critical part once clipped in. Over 100 climbing elements are spread across 3.5, five, eight, eleven and 15 metres, plus ziplines.
The Klettersteig XL is the next step up and uses CLiC-iT, a system of two communicating carabiners that can never open at once — here you re-clip yourself. Over 80 elements at eight, eleven, twelve and 15 metres, from twelve years and 1.50 m tall.
At twelve and 15 metres there is a sky lounge with a view. The operator suggests bringing a picnic basket.
The XXL all-in tour combines both systems and starts at 45 €. If you want to test the water first, the Fan-Tour 100 starts at 23 €.
The park lies at the Unterbacher See and is supervised by ERCA-qualified trainers. Beyond climbing there is archery including archery biathlon, raft building and canoe tours — for mixed groups in which not everyone wants to go up into the trees, that is the site's real strength.
