What makes Hochseilgarten Hürtgenwald special
The knots course sends you home with rope. 15 € for an hour, and two metres of climbing rope to practise with are included. Of all the add-ons in this directory, that is the one most likely to outlast the day of the visit.
Forest bathing and resilience training sit on the same list as archery. Two hours each at 20 €, plus team building for one or two hours. The operator builds the climbing forest into a full day rather than just selling time on the courses.
Lunch is bookable too: 15 € for a pizza of your choice and two drinks.
Groups pay a flat rate, not per head. Up to 20 people 480 €, school classes to year 13 pay 440 €; up to ten people 300 €. For a class of 20 that works out at 22 € a head.
The black course requires 1.60 m. A height limit of its own for the hardest route, while age governs the rest.
Fixed start times, limited places. The operator points this out explicitly – without booking you risk finding none.
The season runs from March to the end of October, daily during the holidays and otherwise at weekends, on public holidays and bridge days from 11 am to 6 pm.
