What makes Hochseilgarten Kiel High Spirits special
It stands on the beach, not inland. The site sits above the public barbecue area at Falckenstein beach, overlooking the Kiel Fjord. The operator writes that on this beach people do more than lie on a towel.
Running since June 2006 – one of the longest continuously operated high ropes courses in this directory. For its 20th anniversary it ran extra features from 24 to 28 June 2026.
There is night climbing. Three night events per season, and in 2026 all of them sold out.
The children's course applies to adults too – but only there. 16 € for anyone from five and 1.10 m. If you come with a small child and want to climb along, you do not pay the full adult rate.
Three family packages instead of a percentage: 62 € for two adults with one child, 80 € with two, 98 € with three children up to 15. Against single tickets the largest option saves 9 €.
The trees are alive. The site is built into living trees rather than poles – rarer in northern Germany than you would think.
