Hochseilgarten Lütjensee
Lütjensee · Schleswig-Holstein · from age 5
99 obstacles between 1.5 and 20 metres east of Hamburg, half of them open to children from age five.
What makes Hochseilgarten Lütjensee special
Half the site is there for five-year-olds. 50 of 99 obstacles are open from age five and 1.20 m – a ratio hardly any other site reaches. The rest goes up to 20 metres.
Booking is by phone only. No online portal, no reservation at the desk: the operator takes bookings exclusively by telephone, daily from 10 am to 6.30 pm. From five people, booking ahead is compulsory.
The beginners' course can be booked on its own and costs 15 € instead of 20 or 25 €.
Monday to Thursday it opens exclusively – from 300 € turnover. For a school class at the 18 € pupil rate, that threshold is reached with 17 children.
It opens on every public holiday in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, even when one falls on a Monday. The operator writes that explicitly – at a site otherwise closed on Mondays, that is the difference between a day out and a wasted drive.
The belay is CLiC-iT. The 2026 season starts on 18 April, and last admission is at 5 pm.
