What makes the Hochseilgarten Treffpunkt Altstadt special

"Everyone may, nobody must." That is the house rule, and it is meant seriously: each person decides how high they want to go. Anyone who wants to stay on the ground stays there - the ground-level low ropes garden offers plenty to do.

Eleven metres and a 45-metre zip line. For a youth centre that is a full-grown facility. The tower stands in the middle of Dorsten; the Treffpunkt Altstadt has run it for more than 40 years as a socio-cultural centre alongside a youth club and a skate and bike park.

Only with the centre's own staff. The ropes garden is used exclusively with the house's trained instructors, by arrangement. Accompanying adults climb along actively and support the group.

Charging is per group, instructors included: 120 € for up to ten participants over three hours, 240 € for eleven to twenty, 360 € for twenty-one to thirty over four hours. The low ropes garden costs less, and family climbing for up to five people costs 60 €. Payment is due at the latest a week before the date.
