What makes Kletterwald Aachen special
Every year group gets its own release. Instead of a rough age or height limit, the price page holds a ladder: six years up to course 4a, seven and eight up to course 6, nine and ten up to course 8, eleven and twelve up to course 10, 13 and 14 up to course 11 – and everything only from 15. We have seen no such fine grading anywhere else in this directory.
Accompanying adults pay the child rate. If you go along with a child up to ten, you pay 18 € instead of 24 €. That takes the arithmetic out of the family decision about whether to climb too.
The reduction runs to age 27. 22 € instead of 24 € on presentation of ID – an unusually high cut-off for a youth rate.
Two corporate fitness schemes are accepted: Hansefit with a 10 € co-payment, Wellhub with 6 €. Alongside Ibbenbüren, Aachen is the second site in this directory to offer that.
The briefing has to be booked but is included in the price. Climbing slots are booked online.
The group discount is modest: 1 € per person.
