What makes Kletterwald Biberach special

Biberach an der Riß lies in Upper Swabia, between Ulm and Lake Constance. The climbing park therefore serves an area where the nearest alternatives are a good hour away in each direction.

The safety briefing takes half an hour and is explicitly part of the offering, not a hurried instruction on the way past. Three hours of climbing follow; every further hour costs 5 €.

Cash is rewarded here: 2 € off per ticket, school classes included. That inverts what you usually find — elsewhere cash is simply the only option.

Annual passes cost 150 € for adults and teenagers and 120 € for children. At single rates of 24 and 20 € respectively, they pay off from the seventh visit.

School classes from ten pupils pay 16 to 18 € on weekdays and 18 to 20 € at weekends and during the holidays, graded by year group. Groups of ten or more generally get 2 € off.
